Helix’s mobile mat washing system, the “Muddy Whistles”, ensures strict environmental concerns are managed when renting used mats or moving mats from one area to the next. Washing and bleaching mats helps to stop the spread of noxious weeds and soil disease. Our one of a kind portable mat washing unit can be available on site to clean a variety of mats.
The Muddy Whistles Mat Washer eliminates water hauling and disposal costs and saves thousands of gallons of water with its water recycling capabilities. It utilizes 3 high pressure pumps with the capacity to push 120 GPM at 2000 PSI to 8 rotating wash canons, each containing 12 cleaning nozzles that can be automatically adjusted to hit the mat with high pressure cleaning power.
Moving through a wash station built on top of an automated conveyor line, the top, bottom and sides of the access mat come out looking good as new. A balk wash bar stretches across the conveyor platform to pre-soak each side of the mat using a pre-flush system that is capable of covering the access mat and rinse with high volume pressure.
